We would like to inform you that ICY Ulm is currently experiencing operational delays due to fully utilized storage capacity at the terminal. This situation is significantly impacting export flows to the German Northports.
In order to improve the situation and to ensure transparency and help manage expectations, when you arrange the firstmile transport with a vendor of your choice, please ensure timely container delivery in accordance with the current terminal conditions.
As long as congestion persists at ICY Ulm:
- Containers must be delivered on the day of train departure.
- Early delivery is not permitted.
Failure to deliver containers in time for loading will result in a charge for the full amount of the unused rail slot, in line with existing cancellation and no-show policies.
