As per the notification shared by Hutchinson Ports, Port of Felixstowe Monday 2nd June 2025.
The Energy Adjustment Levy (EAL) will be decreasing by £0.49p from £15.51 to £15.02 effective from 1st July 2025 per import laden container. The charge is based on gate out date and levied to the clearing agent.
The Port of Felixstowe reserves the right to make adjustments to this charge very 6 months, according to the cost of energy at the time of the review including changes to UK Government support for businesses. The next review will take place during quarter one of 2026.
