We hereby give notice of a change to import release process at Belfast Container Terminal, Northern Ireland.
Pin release has been implemented from the 24th of February 2025. All release orders issued from this date will include a 6-digit pin, which will be sent via EDI to Belfast terminal.
To ensure a smooth transition, paper checks will run concurrently until end of week 10.
Process as follows:
- Until end of week 10 driver presents both a PIN & paperwork at check-in desk
- From week 11 drivers will only need to present a PIN
VBS / App will be implemented over the coming months. Once it is in place drivers will be required to provide a TAR code which will be issued when a transaction is successful on the App. We will keep you advised of any upcoming changes.
