In May 2022, the Port of Felixstowe introduced the Energy Adjustment Levy surcharge, towards the rising cost of energy. Felixstowe Port has now completed a further review on this charge and thus the Energy Adjustment Levy will be decreasing by GBP 2.70 per import laden container to GBP 15.51 from 1st July 2024. This charge is based on gate out date.
This charge will continued to be reviewed every six months and an up-date therefore expected during quarter four 2024.
Please find below a schedule of these charges, per container, which are invoiced out accordingly and will be backdated where applicable.
