Poland – SD booking obligatory information refresher

Summary: We would like to inform you that when you place bookings from Store Door (SD)/Carrier Haulage (C/H) in exports, irrespective of transport mode that was chosen following information are mandatory and should be placed at Haulage Instruction field at the booking order form on Maersk website.

We would like to inform you that when you place bookings from Store Door (SD)/Carrier Haulage (C/H) in exports, irrespective of transport mode that was chosen following information are mandatory and should be placed at Haulage Instruction field at the booking order form on Maersk website.

  • Date of delivery/loading,
  • Exact time slot,
  • Exact address of loading place,
  • Place of VGM,
  • Location where customs will take place including exact name and address of customs agency responsible for clearance.

It is also highly recommended to insert in haulage instructions contact to person at loading/unloading site.

We would like to emphasize importance of information accuracy of location where customs clearance and VGM will take place as we have noticed a lot of cases when it was missing. We kindly request you to provide this information no matter if VGM and customs clearance will be exercised at loading place, port or at external location.
