Patricks Terminal - Reefer Temperature Discrepancy Fee - Port(s): Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Fremantle

In accordance with Patricks Terminal new charge for Reefer temperature discrepancy, laden reefer units delivered to the terminal with a variance of more than +/- 3 degrees Celsius from the PRA temperature will incur a charge to recover the additional cost of terminal resources and electricity incurred to bring the reeder units to the appropriate temperature.

The purpose of the fee is to maintain reefer units at the appropriate temperature and to reduce temperature fluctuations on reefer cargo. It is the shipper’s responsibility to ensure that reefer units are maintained at the appropriate temperature prior to entering Patrick’s terminal.

Patricks will rate is AUD 80.00 + GST per laden reefer unit delivered to the terminal more than +/- 3 degree Celsius from the PRA temperature.

For Export container selected and found with discrepancy by Patricks implemented from4th of March 2024, Maersk in an effort to avoid unnecessary delays on exports will convey the email from Patricks to the Shipper and/or their Agent, and facilitate the billing of Reefer Temperature Discrepancy Fee stated on the letter. The charge will be invoiced by Maersk as Additional Export Service Charge (AES) prepaid to the Shipper or their Agent.

1. All tariff rates are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax ‘GST’ which is payable in addition.
2. Charges for other movements remain applicable and are subject to Patrick’s standard terms and conditions.
