Spain - Export Storage - Reefer cargo

Moller – Maersk’s goal to ensure the efficiency of your supply chain, we are continually keeping an eye on developing solutions.

• Recent rises in energy costs have meant that Maersk has needed to assess the sustainability and accuracy of its storage cost levels. After careful consideration, we have found a new way to simplify and reduce the impact to all the parties involved, introducing an Origin DET Freetime Surcharge for all reefer cargo ex Spain where we will include a total of 5 days of storage and plug-in/electricity charges. The origin DTE Freetime will be 60€ per container.
• Based on this change we will adjust our DnD tariff and from 1.09.2023, you will see the new per diems to be applied after these 5 days.

The surcharge is effective from 01/09/2023 for price calculation date (PCD) and applicable to all the reefer export cargo ex Spain.
