Southern star Monte Tamaro 314S/316N Melbourne omission

Due to an operational delay which is expected to affect berth availability at Melbourne, we wish to advise customers that MONTE TAMARO 314S/316N will omit Melbourne to alleviate pressure on the network, prevent any further sliding on the Southern Star service, and minimise delays to forward scheduling.

The following contingency will apply for impacted cargoes:

• Melbourne exports will load following Southern Star vessel RIO BRAVO 317N

• Transshipment cargo from Polaris vessel NICOLAI MAERSK 319W will load on RIO BLANCO 315N

• Melbourne imports/ transshipment cargo will retain on board and tranship at Tanjung Pelepas and load on new-on-carriers to destination.

We are working with the respective ports to update our revised schedule and cut-off’s, which will be published on their respective websites as usual.
