The Port of Felixstowe Energy Adjustment Levy (EAL) revision from 1st May 2023

Summary: In May 2022, the Port of Felixstowe introduced the Energy Adjustment Levy surcharge, towards the rising cost of energy. Felixstowe Port has now conducted a review and thus the Energy Adjustment Levy will be increasing by GBP 1.75 per import container to GBP 19.25 from 1st May 2023.

In May 2022, the Port of Felixstowe introduced the Energy Adjustment Levy surcharge, towards the rising cost of energy. Felixstowe Port has now conducted a review and thus the Energy Adjustment Levy will be increasing by GBP 1.75 per import container to GBP 19.25 from 1st May 2023.

Please find below a schedule of these charges, per container, which are invoiced out accordingly and will be backdated where applicable.
