New Zealand holiday season timings advisory

During the upcoming Christmas and New Year holiday period there will be some changes to the normal operating hours and information exchange which will affect port, depot, and rail operations.

• Container Depot Operations - amended hours for receival & deliveries

Metroport services: Reduced services 30th Dec, No services 31st Dec and 1st Jan, reduced services 2nd Jan.

Palmerston North Wellington: Last service 24th Dec, first service 4th Jan (No services running in between). Services to/from Tauranga will run normally but end /start at Palmerston North during this period.

CEDO’S

Please endues that your CEDO’S are accurately submitted in advance and ensure you check these on the terminal website, to avoid any disappointment of cargo being rolled during the holiday period.

Public Holidays Freetime

During the holiday period Maersk will offer New Zealand import and export customers the following extension to our combined demurrage & detention freetime. This concession only applies where Public Holidays fall within a customer’s agreed freetime period and in such cases, the freetime will be extended to include the following days.

• Christmas holidays: 25th ,26th, 27th December
• New Year's holidays: 1st, 2nd, 3rd January
