SAECS Service update: Rotterdam Split Port Call

As part of A.P. Moller – Maersk’s efforts to keep our customers informed of the latest operational details, we would like to give you an update on the MOL Proficiency (224N/225S).

Please be informed, operations at the terminal are disrupted and go-slow actions are taking place because of Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) negotiations between the unions and the terminal(s) in Rotterdam (Hutchinson Delta II).

Due to the go-slow actions at the terminal, the MOL Proficiency (224N/225S) is unable to secure a berthing slot that will allow it perform both import discharge and export loadings on its original berthing slot ETA 13/12 at 23:00. Therefore, the vessel will perform a split call at Rotterdam Hutchinson Delta II terminal. On the 1st call, ETA 14/12, the vessel will perform a partial discharge of Reefer containers. On the 2nd call, ETA 17/12, any remaining import containers will be discharged, and all export cargo will be loaded. Our teams are working hard to update all shipment products as required to provide a clear view to our customers on the impact to their shipments.

As such, the decision to make a split call for the MOL Proficiency was taken to ensure the best operational coverage possible with the berthing schedules available.
