Rotterdam – Maersk Karachi – 249E – Export contingency

As part of A.P. Moller – Maersk’s efforts to keep our customers informed of the latest operational details, we would like to give you an update on Maersk Karachi (246W/249E).

Please be informed, operations at the terminal are disrupted and go-slow actions are taking place as a result of Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) negotiations between the unions and the terminal(s) in Rotterdam (Hutchison Ports Delta II).

Due to the go-slow actions and slow operations, Maersk Karachi (246W/249E) is impacted by a reduction in load moves and only able to discharge import units and load export priority cargo.

Our teams are doing everything in their power to minimize disruptions to customers and continue to monitor the situation surrounding the ongoing negotiations. If your cargo is impacted by the go-slow action, your dedicated Customer Service representative will be in touch to discuss options going forward.
