Documentation Fee Origin - Sierra Leone to World and Documentation fee Destination - World to Sierra Leone

Maersk wishes to advise our customers that, in order to keep providing you with our global services, Maersk is revising the Documentation Fee Origin (ODF) & Documentation fee - Destination (DDF) for per bill of lading in export & import of Sierra Leone.

The revised tariff levels are as follows.

* PCD = Price Calculation Date. For non-FMC, PCD refers to the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation for non-spot bookings. For FMC, PCD is last container gate-in date for non-spot bookings.

For your reference, we have also included the levels and rate structure for some sample corridors (Short Term) for Algeciras, ES to/from Freetown, SL valid from 01-Jan-2023 until further notice. These may be subject to future change and we will notify you accordingly.

• The above rates are also subject to other applicable surcharges, including local charges and contingency charges.
• The above surcharge acronyms mean: OF (Ocean Freight), OHC (Origin Terminal Handling Charge), DHC (Destination Terminal Handling Charge), BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor), EFF (Environmental Fuel Fee), ODF (Documentation Fee Origin), DDF (Documentation fee - Destination), CP1 (Container Protect Essential), VGM (Verified Gross Mass Charge), SEP (Special Equipment Service), MHE (Merchant Haulage Export), PAE (Port Additionals / Port Dues Export), PAI (Port Additionals / Port Dues Import), EXP (Export Service) & IMP (Import Service)
• These rates are unaffected by, and do not affect, any tariff notified, published, or filed in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
• For trades subject to the US Shipping Act or the China Maritime Regulations, quotations or surcharges that vary from the Maersk tariff shall not be binding on Maersk unless included in a service contract or service contract amendment that has been filed with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) or the Shanghai Shipping Exchange, as applicable.
