Due to the Wage Negotiation Strike in all terminals operating in South Africa that was ongoing in the last two weeks, we have seen limited waterside and landside activity taking place in the terminals. This was further exacerbated with weather challenges and high winds in Durban as we enter into the next phase of recovery. As a result, we are seeing massive delays on the vessels that are waiting to berth in Durban.
To the benefit of our customers and to restore the schedule integrity of the service into Durban, we would unfortunately have a missing sailing on the Southbound rotation 244S, departing Shanghai 04th of November 2022. Alternative ocean product will be offered for all bookings already accepted on voyage 244S.
Please see the upcoming line up for Safari Southbound sailing based on Shanghai departure
