Maersk wishes to advise our customers that, in order to keep simplifying the way you do business with us, we are introducing new product Container Protect Essential (CP1) for all containers in import to Cambodia.
Effective 1st October 2022, based on departure date, the surcharge IMP will be replaced by CP1 (Container Protect Essential). CP1 will be applicable to all shipments imported into Cambodia & invoiced along with your destination charges. Detail of the changes as following.

* PCD = Price Calculation Date. For non-FMC, PCD refers to the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation for non-spot bookings. For FMC, PCD is last container gate-in date for non-spot bookings.
The new product is introduced to improve your experience with container damages. Under CP1, if the repair and cleaning cost is above USD 250 per container, the E-invoice will be available on our website (maersk.com /My Finance) within 14 days after empty container returned depot. You also have option to upgrade the repair & cleaning fees threshold to be unlimited by purchasing CP3 – Container Protect Unlimited. Just contact our sales representative to purchase CP3.
