At Maersk, we are proud to offer market-leading transit times and reliability connecting Costa Rica and Panama to the UK and Europe. To ensure we continue providing this to our customers, the Costa Rica Express (CRX) service will now make its weekly UK call at Southampton Terminal.
The adjustment means customers will benefit from improved productivity in a modernised terminal, as well as increased reefer capacity to add further flexibility and dependability to their supply chains.
Southampton Terminal will replace the former UK calling point of Tilbury, with the first vessel voyage planned for Southampton being H8N SONGA PUMA V.227N on 5th August 2022.
If your inland set-up is focused around Tilbury, Maersk is able to assist you with intermodal solutions that connect your cargo to and from Southampton. Please get in touch with your local sales representative to discuss options.
