Changes to Import reefer unplug process
Important reefer unplugging update at Dublin and Cork port
Please be aware that from 30th May for all Import Reefer unplugs you must follow the following process.
Provide a minimum of 6 working hours’ notice to the following email address:
Ie.email@example.com for Maersk Imports.
It is no longer necessary to copy Reefertech in any emails relating to the unplugging of reefer containers and any emails directed to them will not be actioned.
Reefertech will only take instruction from Maersk in relation to unplugging units on quay.
Note that this timeframe is to allow time for our technicians to arrive on site and locate and unplug your unit.
Our Technicians will only leave a unit unplugged for a maximum of 3 hours so please ensure you arrive at your requested time as we cannot risk leaving reefers unplugged for longer periods of time otherwise this puts your valuable cargo at risk. If a driver arrives 3 hours after initial request a new request needs to be sent to unplug the unit.
If you cannot collect at the requested time, please email the above addresses during working hours so we can accommodate a replug.
Again, please do not contact our Reefer Technicians (Reefertech) directly, all correspondence must be directed through Maersk Ireland Customer Service.
We want to thank you for your business and look forward to continuously serving your global transportation needs.
