This advisory contains updated details to the incident involving the MSC Archimidis on the TP16. As previously communicated the vessel experienced main engine issues, while enroute to the Panama Canal from Busan, Korea.
Vessel Operations
The MSC Archimidis is still pending making its berth at Coco Solo Terminal for the Panama imports. We will communicate the final berth window once we have more information and the rest of the schedule for North America ports of call as soon as possible.
Value Protect Customers
We are in the process of arranging the securities on your behalf with the Adjusters, as your shipment is covered under Value Protect. We encourage all customers onboard to ensure that all necessary documents have been filed for your shipment, to enable us in arranging the securities without delay. You or your team should have received a specific email from us this week asking for further details if needed. Please note the containers will not be released by the adjuster unless the security is placed, and customers could incur additional storage fees if not secured timely.
Non-Value Protect Customers
We kindly ask you to arrange for the salvage security and submit the requested documents as soon as possible if not already done, since the delivery of the container(s) can only be arranged once acceptable security and requested documents are received by the adjusters.
In the meantime, please find attached here with the notice received from the adjusters, with their contact details and preliminary instructions.
