Hauliers waiting time standard changes – Sweden

Swedish hauliers have decided to change the market standard and General terms & Conditions for inland deliveries in Sweden. The standard 1 hour waiting time for loading and unloading will no longer exist as per 1st January 2022. Waiting time will be debited from the arrival at customer premises. The reasons for this change shared with us by our vendors are the shortage of drivers as well as the increased fuel costs driving the overall costs up for the Swedish Hauliers.

Consequently, Maersk will need to adjust our standard offering according to the new market standards as per 1st Jan 2022.

We will continue debiting waiting time as per every started 30 minutes with the same tariff rates as we currently have which are presented below but as mentioned from the time of truck arrival at customer premises.

WTO (Waiting Time Origin)

Chassis Delivery 335 SEK for 30 minutes and 670 SEK for full hour
Side Loader delivery 390 SEK for 30 minutes and 780 SEK for full hour

WTD (Waiting Time Destination)

Chassis Delivery 335 SEK for 30 minutes and 670 SEK for full hour
Side Loader delivery 390 SEK for 30 minutes and 780 SEK for full hour
