In our constant efforts to provide seamless service to our clients, we would like to inform that Export bookings from ICD rail locations, which would require Place of Receipt (POR) as ICD location in your Bill of Lading would be on Carrier Haulage.
Scope: DRY Units
We will undertake the Rail Haulage for exports from ICD rail locations. Therefore, same will be invoiced to customers as Export IHE and BL will be issued with applicable POR. Freight applicability will be based on the “Price Calculation Date” for all Trades.
Rail haulage and ICD handling costs will be recovered as per our published Carrier Haulage (IHE) tariff below :

Customers who would require Merchant Haulage/Shipper PDA, should be guided by the following changes
Example: Place of Receipt (POR) -Dadri via Port of Loading (POL) Pipavav to New York.
- Our BL will reflect Place of Receipt (POR) - Pipavav. It will show only Port of Loading (POL) Pipavav, since haulage is done by customer.
- Rate applicability will be the date of container handover as per the Price Calculation Date.
- Customer will have to pick up empty box from Port of Loading (Pipavav) and handover the laden container at (POL) Pipavav, within standard Export Free time, failing which Detention/Ground rent will apply as per published tariff below as per standard practice.
- However if the customer wants to pick up empty box from an ICD location It will be basis payment of Empty repositioning Charge as per standard practice and handover within standard Export Free time, failing which Detention/Ground rent will apply as per published tariff below:
