In regards to previous advisory, let us share latest information on the development of freight trains transport to/from Germany.

Freight trains to/from Germany are operating in very limited capacity and speed with unpredictable transit time. As from 10.8. there is strike of the Union of German Train Drivers which affects the overall situation on rail and causes further delays of trains.

For imports we are trying to keep up to date information in www.e-maersk.eu with expected arrivals to our inland depots. Please follow these information closely and in case of any doubts, please contact our customer service colleagues. For exports in case there is need to rebook your containers to later vessel you will be also notified.

Export booking stop is extended till August 29 for all SD bookings with load port Germany.

Import shipments aren’t accepted from German ports until further notice, unless you wish to pay premium for ordering direct truck.

In case you have booked your import containers up to Bremerhaven / Hamburg, CY, please request release of these containers in e-Maersk. For both directions, there is still possibility to book in case you wish to deliver containers to/from port by direct truck. For price offer please contact our customer service.
