APMM offers to change shipment destinations free of charge (COD)

Your supply chain is of the utmost importance to us and in light of the ongoing situation at the Port of Yantian in the Greater China Area, we have been working around the clock to alleviate customer pain points. We regret the impact this has on your business in a time where certain industries may already be stretched due to the pandemic, and we would like to extend our assistance to all customers on all fronts. Besides the announced contingency plans, we are exploring more solutions.

Understanding that flexibility is key to our customers at the current period of time, we would like to offer our customers an option to change the shipment destination (COD, Change of Destination Service) for free.

The period of free COD* Service would be applicable with:

• Shipments booked with final discharge / destination as Yantian, China
• Shipments with expected discharge between 22nd June to July 4th

* Acceptance of COD request is subject to operational feasibility.

By offering to change your shipment destination for free, our aim is to give you sufficient room to manoeuvre some of the current pressure points caused by the Yantian situation, all to lessen the impact to your supply chain, which is of the utmost importance to us.
