The current water levels of the St. Lawrence River have significantly decreased which has restricted the intake of vessels. The latest projections of the water level show further reductions and as a result, Maersk will be implementing a Low Water Surcharge (LWC) for all cargo discharging in Montreal, QC, CA effective 15TH June 2021.
The Revised tariff levels are as follow
