The Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation (TASAC) previously advised an extension of transit free time to accommodate the challenges experienced due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and with the noted improvements noted by TASAC, and to keep providing you with our global services the Import Freetime in Tanzania has been revised as follows, effective 1st June 2021.
The following free time shall be applied for containers released on or after 1st June 2021.
