As you know, the MSC Ariane, experienced engine issues due to bad quality of fuel on April 2nd while en route from Xiamen, China to Los Angeles, USA.

We have been advised by the owners, the MSC Ariane is currently in Wakayama, Japan for repairs and the vessel is expected to leave on April 21st and arrive at Los Angeles anchorage on May 1st. The estimated berthing date will depend on the congestion in Los Angeles.

April 12, 2021

We have been advised by the owners of the MSC Ariane that it is expected to complete repairs by the end of the week, followed by a short call in Yokohama for bunker operations. All going well, vessel will then sail for Los Angeles as previously planned.

The arrival to anchor in Los Angeles is still unknown. The MSC Ariane was expected to berth in Los Angeles on April 24th. Due to the congestion in the Los Angeles area, we are now expecting a schedule adjustment to this original berthing plan.

April 06, 2021

The owners of container vessel MSC ARIANE, has informed us that the vessel had to stop at sea due to an engine issue on April 2nd while en route from Xiamen, China to Los Angeles, USA. A tugboat with spare parts reached the vessel and started towing it towards Wakayama, Japan to perform repairs. The vessel is expected to reach Wakayama tomorrow.

MSC ARIANE was expected to berth in Los Angeles on April 24th. Due to the congestion in the Los Angeles area, we are now expecting a schedule adjustment to this original berthing plan.
