Genset charge – U.S. Import refrigerated cargo – CY deliveries – Price increase

Effective May 1, 2021, Maersk will increase the Genset Charge from USD200 to USD300 per container on all import operating refrigerated containers for CY delivery (except cold treatment cargo and cargo discharging in Philadelphia, PA), that utilizes a Maersk provided genset.

As a reminder, Customers that elect not to use a genset, provide their own genset, or move with Maersk on a store door delivery basis will not be subject to the charge.

Those not using a genset will particularly benefit through faster terminal turntimes, and reduce any delays due to genset supply constraints.

For your reference, we have also included the levels and rate structure for some sample corridors ESALR to USNWK valid until further notice. These may be subject to future change, however we will make sure to notify you accordingly.
