Here’s to remind you the correct procedure to submit all necessary data for IMO Gate-Ins at Vado Terminal.
As you know, Vado Terminal is completely automated, which means that all IMO details must be submitted by your customs broker not only on the terminal website, but also on the Hacpack Platform.
Please note that in case all details are not submitted on both platforms, the container will not be able to gate in and will be stuck outside the gate, which might lead to delays, extra charges and might require the intervention of the terminal/Maersk staff.
To conclude, we would like you to encourage you to please make sure that for each IMO shipment your customs broker submits all details on both platforms (terminal website and Hacpack) in due time, if possible even before the arrival of the truck at the terminal gate, so that all IMO containers will regularly appear as “authorized to gate in”, avoiding any possible issues.
