Storage rates for our Reefer Import containers in Spain

Starting 1st of JAN 2021, Maersk will introduce a change in our current setup for DnD calculations for our Reefer Import containers in Spain.

In order to simplify our invoicing process on the Storage (DMR) we will charge also the Plug-in fee within the DMR charge therefore you will see the fee applicable since the second day from the discharge day at the terminal due to the huge electricity cost associated to a reefer container.

This means that in your DnD invocies you will see the fee for the plugging charged from the day 2 to 4 (both included).

The plugging fee will be 25€ per day.

After the Free Time ends we will charge the per diem rates published in our website.
Remember that our setup is Calendar days.

Example:
A 40´reefer container was discharged at Valencia port and gate out 5 days later, the invoice will be as follows

• From day 2 up to 4: 3 days x 25€ = 75€
• Day 5 = 85€
• Total invoice = 160€
