Seasonal Capacity Adjustment – Far East to West Africa Trade

Due to market demand reductions in the Far East to West Africa trade caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Maersk endeavors to balance our network to match reduced demand. Therefore we will implement a number of blank sailings from mid-April to mid-May.

Overview of blank sailings (weeks are based on Shanghai departure)

• FEW1/WAX Week 17
• FEW2/WAX3 Week 19
• FEW3/AFEX Week 18
• FEW6/ASAF Week 17 and 19

We will continue to receive bookings and will do our best to induce/cover ports with healthy demand to ensure minimum impact to your cargo and supply chain.
