Please note that Korea Reefer cargo weight acceptance will be adjusted as below for both Export and Import with immediate effect when it comes to carrier haulage. Same has updated in MePC and local service catalogue.
Export
For Reefer cargoes only, max. cargo weight acceptance is up to 27mton subject to weight premium (ref to Korea ‘safe rate tariff’ controlled by the government) and any accessorial cost for customs permission.
Counting in cargo max. weight, total weight of truck, trailer, container and cargo weight must not exceed 40mton and the pressure on each axle must not exceed 10mton.
Import
For Reefer cargoes only, max. cargo weight acceptance is up to 25mton subject to weight premium (ref to Korea ‘safe rate tariff’ controlled by the government) and any accessorial cost for customs permission.
Counting in cargo max. weight, total weight of truck, trailer, container and cargo weight must not exceed 40mton and the pressure on each axle must not exceed 10mton.
