In a continued effort to make it easier for our customers to do business with Maersk, we will revise the Detention (DnD) offer for Import SPOT bookings in Sierra Leone effective from February 6th, 2020.

As from February 6th, 2020, we will standardize the Detention freetime as we did for the freight.

It means therefore that if you/your shipper/contractual, book on Maersk spot, all imports shipments you will receive through that brand product will be subject to detention 14 days for Maersk Spot displayed at the time of booking.

This means that your Maersk Spot bookings will not enjoy the special conditions of any previous agreement (service contract) with our sales and local team.

Below Tariff which will be applied after Freetime:
Detention: 20’: USD 25 - 40’: USD 50

Should you have any additional inquiries about your shipments, please do not hesitate to contact your Sales or Customer Services representative.

If you would like to make a booking, please click on link: Spot offers - Booking.

We remain at your service if any assistance would be wished for.
