Equipment re-use requests now available with Avantida

We would like to inform you that as of 01 Apr 2019 all requests for equipment re-use on Merchant Haulage will be managed through Avantida digital platform.

As of 01 Apr 2019, trucking companies will be able to obtain almost instant approval using the digital paid service provider Avantida. Your truck carrier will need to register with Avantida at Avantida. Once registered in the platform, truckers will have access to Avantida 's automated request process, returning accurate responses within minutes and delivering time and overall cost savings.

Instant equipment re-use approval provided by this service should help in reducing the time your trucker will need to spend on administrative tasks, allowing your cargo to get on the move more quickly.

A charge of 80€ will be applicable for approved equipment re-use requests and is payable directly to Avantida platform. After 01Apr 2019, Maersk will apply a penalty of 200€ for any Merchant Haulage equipment re-use performed outside of Avantida.If you have any questions about this change or about Avantida, please feel free to reach out to your local sales or customer service representative.
