Intermodal Fuel Fee update in ITALY

Following our previous Customer Advisory dated 25 March 2026 regarding the introduction of a temporary Intermodal Fuel Fee (EFS/IFS) in Italy, we would like to inform you that—after continued monitoring of energy market developments—we will proceed with a revision of the applicable fuel fee percentages.

Revised Intermodal Fuel Fee Percentages

- TRUCK

• Export Fuel Surcharge (EFS): +18%
• Import Fuel Surcharge (IFS): +18%

- RCO

• Export Fuel Surcharge (EFS): +9%
• Import Fuel Surcharge (IFS): +9%

Effective from:

• PCD 01 MAY 2026 for non FMC
• PCD 23 MAY 2026 for FMC

These revised values will replace the percentages previously communicated and remain subject to bi-weekly review, in line with ongoing fuel market developments.

Given the continued volatility of the energy markets, further adjustments may be required should conditions evolve.

*PCD = Price Calculation Date. For non-FMC, PCD refers to the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation for non-Spot bookings. For FMC, PCD is last container gate-in date for non-Spot bookings.
