Shipping to and from Jordan

If you wish to release your empties from Aqaba Container Terminal, drop an email to jo.export@maersk.com including the below information:

• Stuffing location (inside or outside the terminal)
• Clearance company name

You will be provided with the below documents to confirm collecting from Aqaba Container Terminal:

• Booking Confirmation
• Container Release Order (CRO)
• Equipment Delivery Order (EDO)

For containers collected from Aqaba terminal, an e-mail containing the Container number, Seal number and weight needs to be sent to jo.export@maersk.com to pre-gate the containers and allow them to enter the terminal. This needs to be sent 4 hours prior to container gate-in.

Empty pickup and gate-in of container full to the terminal must be managed within the Free time to avoid any Detention/Demurrage charges.

Important: Full containers must be Gated-in and registered before CY cut-off (24 hours prior to vessel arrival)
