SAECS Recovery plan - Durban and Port Elizabeth

In order to limit any impact to your cargo we have the following contingency plans in place to assist with the recovery of Durban whilst ensuring the supply chains begin to move as quickly as possible to impacted areas.

Maira XL will call Coega Terminal in Port Elizabeth on the 18th July on her Northbound call to discharge all Durban imports which will then be feedered to Maydon Wharf, Durban on the Border 205A. Should you wish to arrange for a COD to take delivery of cargo at Coega please contact your local Customer Experience agent.
The Maira XL will then continue to Durban for her export call, ETA and stacks will be finalised and confirmed by ONE as the vessel is expected to take priority berth.

Santa Clara will omit Coega terminal Northbound and sail directly to Cape Town to meet her fixed berthing window on the 22nd July. Maira XL will advance her northbound call into the position of the Santa Clara on the 18th in Coega to load all exports originally planned for the Santa Clara. The Coega call for the Maira XL post her Durban call will be finalised next week.
