Container Return in hinterland depots in Central America Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua

To keep providing you with our global services and to cover container repositioning costs, Maersk is updating the amount of Drop Off Charges, which are the container returning fees applicable whenever an empty container is returned in hinterland depots in any location different than the port of discharge (POD), as per the amounts included in the table below.

The empty containers return in the POD continues to be free of charge for all customers.

Please note that those Drop Off Charges are, however, already comprised in the overall amount paid by the customers who use our inland transportation services in one single connection - our store door service delivery - included in the bill of lading (BL).
