Following the recent fuel price adjustments published by the Kenya Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), Maersk hereby notifies you of introduction of Fuel Surcharges (EFS & IFS) across the corridors listed below, for all TBL products.
The above change is effective 18 May 2026, for Non- Federal Maritime Commission (Non-FMC trades) and 17th June 2026 for Federal Maritime Commission (FMC trades)
Fuel surcharges are subject to periodic review and may be adjusted from time to time to reflect changes in underlying cost components, including but not limited to fuel prices, regulatory requirements and third-party charges associated with service delivery.
The adjustments are mechanically linked to observable external cost changes and are not discretionary pricing adjustments This notice is issued by Maersk independently to provide information on updated operational charges applicable to affected services. The revised charges are applied in connection with the provision of services and, where applicable, in accordance with relevant service arrangements.
For contextual reference only, a copy of the relevant EPRA fuel price publication is attached. This is provided solely to illustrate the external market conditions informing operational cost inputs and does not form part of any contractual agreement or pricing determination.
Nothing in this notice shall be construed as a waiver of any rights or remedies available to Maersk, or as an amendment or variation of any terms other than the rate adjustments expressly set out in this notice.
