크기 및 무게 초과 화물은 대개 단일 표준 컨테이너의 비율과 용량을 초과합니다. 350톤 예인선, 46미터 크레인 암 또는 17미터 프로펠러 등 무엇을 운송하든지 간에 그에 맞는 전문 기술과 장비를 갖추고 있습니다.

In Gauge 화물
- 화물의 크기가 플랫 랙 또는 오픈 탑 컨테이너보다 작거나 같습니다(즉, 특수 장비가 필요하지만 선박의 추가 슬롯을 차지하지 않음).
- In Gauge 운송의 예: 오픈 탑 컨테이너에 담을 수 있는 기계 또는 대형 나무.
- In Gauge 화물을 운송하는 경우 Maersk.com에서 몇 분만에 운송을 예약할 수 있습니다.
Out of Gauge 화물
- 화물의 길이, 너비 또는 높이가 플랫 랙 또는 오픈 탑 컨테이너를 초과하지만 컨테이너에 적재할 수 있는 화물입니다.
- Out of Gauge 운송의 예: 프로펠러, 플랜지 또는 트럭
Break Bulk 화물
- 표준 컨테이너의 크기 및/또는 무게를 크게 초과하여 비단위화 화물로 취급되며 일반적으로 많은 수의 라싱 포인트를 사용하여 플랫 랙의 베드에 올립니다.
- 일반적인 Break Bulk 운송의 예: 요트, 돛대, 산업용 기계 또는 기차

Maximum Payload: The maximum permitted mass of payload, including the dunnage and cargo securement arrangements that are not associated with the container in its normal operating condition.
Tare weight: Mass of empty container including all fittings and appliances associated with a particular type of container in its normal operating condition.
Maximum Gross weight: The maximum mass for operating a container, including the tare weight and the maximum payload.
