To keep providing you with our global services, Maersk has revised our local charges for South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho & Swaziland for all cargo effective 1st April 2022.

As per the advisory from Transnet (TPT) the following changes will also be implemented and have been updated in our tariff book accordingly.

Import Reefer Storage during peak seasons will be as follows

Location	Size/Type	Peak Period	Free Days
Location Cape Town	Size/Type 20/40 Reefers	Peak Period 15th November – 31st March 2022	Free Days 2 days
Location Durban	Size/Type 20/40 Reefers	Peak Period All year	Free Days 2 days
Location Port Elizabeth	Size/Type 20/40 Reefers	Peak Period 1st May – 31st October 2022	Free Days 2 days

IMDG Cargo Storage as follows

IMDG Cargo Class	Size/Type	Free Days
IMDG Cargo Class IMO Class - 1; 2; 2.1; 2.3; 4.1; 4.2; 5.1; 5.2; 6.2 and 7	Size/Type All	Free Days 0
IMDG Cargo Class IMO Class - 3; 4; 6; 8	Size/Type All	Free Days 2
