If you are a Hamburg Süd customer wanting to start booking with Maersk, the first step is to complete our easy registration process for Maersk.com. You will receive a verification link by email when you submit the registration form. You should click on this link to complete the registration and receive your login details.

Our teams are available to guide you through switching to booking via the Maersk EDI channel. In most cases, they will already have been in touch to arrange this. If not, please contact us for support.
We recommend that you keep your other accounts active so that you can continue to receive updates and information on previous and current shipments. We have asked third party providers to continue to send you EDI cargo status messages until those shipments are complete.

Invoices issued before your business was carried over to Maersk should be paid as specified on those invoices.

Though we will give customers as much notice as possible when the time comes to close the Hamburg Süd website, please begin downloading and saving any information you may need longer term.
You can find all historical and current Captain Peter in your Maersk account. That includes information for Hamburg Süd bookings. All you need to do is log in to Captain Peter using your Maersk credentials, then navigate to the ‘Historic’ tab on the top menu, or search for the container as usual.
Yes, in most cases staff will already have responded to you from their Maersk email addresses. However, you can use either Hamburg Süd or Maersk contact details for the time being, both are still active.
