Have you seen the ‘Map’ view when you login to the Hub? We rolled out this feature with the Hub release last year to help you with vessel tracking and facility positioning.
Now we’re excited to announce that we’ve also enabled the container tracking option on the Hub Map. It will help you to pin the live location of your container and gives the routing information as the container is being transported from A to B.

Here’s how you can start tracking your shipments/containers on the Hub Map:
- Login to your Maersk account.
- Enter your container number, and select it from the drop-down.

- You will see basic information of your container, the latest milestones, and the predicted Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) (enabled by our Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered Application Programming Interface (API)).

- For detailed information, you can click ‘Track container details’ and navigate to ‘public tracking’ to get a holistic view of the end-to-end journey.

We’ve enabled the map view feature for container tracking as the first step with a focus on the ocean journey. Our aim is to provide accurate and end-to-end visibility into all your shipments/containers on a map view. As part of that, we are soon planning to implement the map view feature for tracking of Bill of Lading (BoL), Transshipments, and Inland shipments as well.
