It is a never-ending endeavour of Maersk to ensure customers get an accurate visibility of their shipments. To achieve this goal, we are glad to introduce container tracking on rail services.
Today as part of container tracking you can see when the container is loaded/unloaded from rail i.e start and end of the journey. This has now been enriched to show the last station that the container departed from and also when the container arrives at the final rail destination. This is especially helpful where shipments have long rail journeys that span days in the NAM region.
