In connection with the upcoming holidays season, Maersk has endeavoured to balance our network to match reduced demand. We aim to minimize the impact to our customers supply chain and provide predictability by securing alternative routings.
We will make a one-off suspension of the ME1 service in week 6 sailing from Europe. The service will resume in standard rotation the week after. To ensure our customers face as little business disruption, the port calls on the ME1 service will be covered on other services in our network.
The suspended ME1 vessel is :
|Week||Service||Vessel||Voyage||First Load Port / Date||Last Load Port / Date|
First Load Port / Date
Felixstowe / 01-02-2020
Last Load Port / Date
Rotterdam / 10-02-2019
Alternative coverage for ME1 suspension
- Felixstowe:Covered on AE1
- Antwerp:Covered on AE7
- Hamburg:Covered on AE7
- Bremerhaven:Covered on AE1 and AE5
- Wilhelmshaven:Transferred to next sailing
- Rotterdam:Covered on AE1
There will be no or marginal impact on transit times for all destination ports currently served via ME1, except cargo to Jeddah which please take note of the revised transit times for week 6 departure only:
Antwerp – Jeddah 18 days
Bremerhaven – Jeddah 17 days
Rotterdam – Jeddah 18 days
Felixstowe – Jeddah 24 days with alternative London Gateway AE7 (ESTELLE MAERSK 004E) or transferred to the next vessel
