Applicable from 1/1/2017

Our setup in Serbia consists of two elements; Demurrage and Detention.

This means you have separate free time and compensation for utilisation of equipment inside (Demurrage) and outside (Detention) of depot.

Demurrage starts to apply as from SAME DAY of GATE IN FULL until GATE OUT FULL

Detentions start to apply as from GATE OUT FULL to GATE IN EMPTY.

Calculation is based on CALENDAR days.

Combined Demurrage and Detention from 15th August 2019

Combined Demurrage and Detention

Combined equipment demurrage and detention commences on and includes the day that the full container is gated-in full at Rail Ramp at the ports and ends on the day that the empty container is gated-in at the terminal.

  • Shipper Owned Containers (SOC) are not subject to Combined Demurrage and Detention
  • Non-operating Reefers (NOR) will be charged as DRY equipment
  • National holidays count unless they fall within the allowed free time period
  • Combined Demurrage and Detention will be invoiced as Detention
  • Combined Demurrage and Detention are invoiced: per container, per calendar day, per container size type

  1. Storage at discharge port are applicable in case of long stay at terminal (exceeding free days granted) not imputable to the carrier.

Restrictions

Cargo Restrictions 

Cigarettes & Alcholic beverages : No carrier haulage accepatnce for mentioned comodites. Also no acceptance for CY Belgrade.

Acceptance 

Preferred entry port for Serbia is Rijeka port. Alternative ports are Koper and Thessaloniki however through BLs’ allowed only via Rijeka! 

Weight limit for all container type is 26 mts (cargo and container tara). 

Less Container Load: no acceptance 

Break Bulk : no acceptance 

Out of Guage (OOG): only subject to pmlsiops@maersk.com approval prior booking 

Reefer cargo; only subject to (pmlsiops@maersk.com) approval prior booking . Only m/h up to Rijeka,HR or Koper,SI. 

Requirements 

Documentation requirements: 

For delivery to Serbia following documents should be submited prior vessel's arrival : B/l ; invoices; packing lists; certificates. 

Special customs requirements 

For foodstaff all orginal documents need to be presented to the customs,. Vetenary and phytosanitary inspection need to be arranged at port of discharge and on Serbian border. 

Original Veterinary certificates need to be presented to Veterinary authorities before container arrival at Rijeka port!
