NO Acceptance of Dangerous cargo on Asia-Europe (AE3) service

The vessels with Loa over 250 m could transit in force at any time the Bosphorus Strait to/from Black Sea on a daylight passage. However when there is IMDG class 1/2/5.1/5.2/6.2/7 on board the vessel transiting Bosphorus Strait, she will be considered as TANKER and pass the strait with tanker convoy at daylight and specific time frame.

Based on above information, Maersk Line has decided to ban all Black Sea IMO cargo from AE3 service, eastbound and westbound and to route it alternatively VIA GIOIA TAURO ON FEEDER.

Maersk Line prefers not to put vessel schedules to risk, consequently this restriction has been effective from the 1st sailing of new AE3 string on week 14, 2007.

All companies that are the consignee field on the bill of lading, it is mandatory to have the VAT no mentioned.
