**   Advance Import Manifest deadlines are applicable to shipments subjected to Discharge, Final Discharge, tranships or remaining on board a vessel that calls countries subjected to Advanced Import Manifest
Countries included under Advanced Import Manifest are : United States, Canada, European Union, Turkey, China, Japan, Israel, Mexico, Korea
If Shipping Instruction Cut-off Time falls on Friday and weekends, please submit your Shipping Instruction before 5pm on Friday.

Exports from Westport (Port Klang)

Containers for export bookings via Westport (Port Klang) must be collected from depot 24 hours prior to vessel arrival at Westport.

Tariff charges effective 1 January 2017

Export : Our setup in Malaysia will be Combined Demurrage & Detention.

This means you will have one combined free time period and compensation for utilisation of equipment inside and outside of terminals or depots, referred to as Combined Demurrage & Detention.

The Demurrage Export will be calculated based on the actual “Load” date of the container, there will be a change from vessel ETA today to Load where Maersk Line considered to increase additional 1 day export free day from 2016 tariff. Calculation method maintains as Progressive calculation.

Dangerous Cargo - Port Klang

All containers with Dangerous Goods should have the “Placard” (also known as DG stickers) affixed on each side of the containers. The total “Placard” per container would be 4 pieces.

Restrictions

Routing:

Acceptance at Port Klang (Northport), Penang Port, Port of Tanjung Pelepas and Kuantan Port in West Malaysia, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, and Bintulu in East Malaysia

Commodity: 

 No acceptance for Dangerous Cargo IMO Class 1.

Special Cargoes:

Out of Gauge, Break Bulk and Dangerous (IMO) cargo are subject to standard Maersk Line approval procedures.
