Shipping to Malaysia

Maersk has been connecting Malaysian businesses to the world since 1974.

With offices in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Port Klang and Tanjung Pelepas, we carry cargo for many of Malaysia’s most successful companies – from anywhere in the country to anywhere in the world. Whether you are shipping electronics, machinery or chemicals – and everything in-between –we have the expertise, global presence and local knowledge to get it to its destination on time.

Your connection from Tanjung Pelepas to the world

Following the move of hub terminal operations from Singapore, the Port of Tanjung Pelepas is now the gateway to southern Malaysia. As a free trade zone, it is an ideal location for cargo coming in and out of Malaysia and it contains many port-related industries as well as land for distribution parks and other warehousing. As a strategic partner to the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, we move around two million TEUs through the port annually.

Connecting the Malaysian east coast

On the east coast, we provide connections via the ports of Kuantan, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Bintulu, either through our own operations or through trusted third-party agents.

Wherever you choose to ship with us, our customer representatives will ensure you get excellent customer service throughout the entire process.
