Dry containers reuse policy

As of 1^st June 2019 all requests for equipment re-use on Merchant Haulage are being managed through Avantida digital platform.
Your truck carrier will need to register with Avantida at Avantida-The platform. Once registered in the platform, truckers will have access to Avantida 's automated request process, returning accurate responses within minutes and delivering time and overall cost savings.
A charge of 40€ will be applicable for approved equipment re-use requests and is payable directly to Avantida platform.

New Export Pick-Up & Import Drop-off surcharge tariff - Greece (15 02 2020)

In order to continue to maintain the quality of the services we provide, Maersk is implementing the Export PICK-UP and the Import DROP-OFF surcharge, effective as of 15^th February 2020.

All Customers can require empty container pick up or drop off from / to an inland depot or port different the from load / discharge port provided that request is received in written and Maersk has reverted with written authorization.

Notes:

1. Container pick-up might be restricted in case of equipment deficit at requested origin
2. Container drop-off might be restricted in case of equipment surplus at requested destination
3. Specific container numbers’ drop-off (off hire units) may not be authorized in alternative areas

Moreover you can pay invoices directly with credit card option, with that process there will be no need to send us relevant bank swift since payment is retrieved automatically in our systems.

• Equipment Positioning Service - Export : EUR 35 / container Applicable only for export SD shipments out of Thessaloniki port

  • 2 to 3 Hours - 15 EUR per hour
  • 3+ Hours - 25 EUR per hour
• Waiting time due to customs inspection in port: eur 50,00 per container
• outside of working hours & weekend deliveries (working hours: Monday - Friday 06:00 - 19:00) - 50 EUR per container
• Multistop addon : 50 EUR per container per stop (if for example 2 stops, i.e. 3 stuffing locations, then amount to be charged is eur 100)* * cost of additional km due to deviation from main route are not included
• De-coupling / Pick & Drop
  When the trucker leaves the container (and the chassis if relevant) at shipper’s / consignee’s premises and collects the full / empty container later the same day or a day after. Is covering the cost of the second trucking trip and the chassis rental when relevant.

• Specialized chassis (eg tilt chassis)
  20' size container - 50 EUR

• Imo addon (ADR license): 50 EUR per container applicable when special ADR license is required
• Waste cargo license (waste paper excluded): 50 EUR per container
• Direct delivery from / to vessel (including non-working hours): 100 EUR per container applicable mainly for specific types of waste cargo which are not allowed to be stowed at Piraeus container yard, therefore containers are moved in / out of terminal directly at vessel loading / discharge time.
