Procedures

All export shipments require to have sent a complete Shipping Instruction either online, via email DJ.EXPORT@maersk.com or physically to our office. Should you choose to send via email or bring physically to our office we recommend using this format to ensure that all information is given initially and no time wasted in booking confirmation.

Standard Shipping Instruction Template

After container has been stuffed and delivered to the terminal the client must sent a complete Stuffing report BEFORE the vessel cut off time. The stuffing report can be updated online, sent on email DJ.EXPORT@maersk.com or brought physically to our office. Failure to meet the cut off times will result in potentially being rolled to the following vessel and all port penalties passed on to the shipper at cost.

Restrictions

There are no operational restrictions for Djibouti export cargo, other than container payload weights. For oversize or hazardous cargo please contact us at DJ.EXPORT@maersk.com. Reefer cargo is accepted. Payment of freight, all other charges and BL printing can be done by Maersk Djibouti
