Sines Port – Update of 20th August 2019
Dear Valued Customers,
Sines port workers strike previously announced from 00:00hr of 12/08/2019 to 23:59hrs of 24/08/2019, has ended at 00:00hr of 18/08/2019, situation is expected back to normal soon, although there are still some move overflow and vessel line up.
Maersk herewith ensures communication in case of vessel omissions and operational contingencies, through the below table:
|15-08-2019||MAERSK EVORA 929W||Import||Port omission due to berthing unavailability, as a result of the port workers strike (3 hours full stoppage in each shift)||Vessel will discharge in the alternative port of Antwerp, Belgium.|

|23-08-2019||MSC AURORA 930W||Import||Port omission due to berthing unavailability.||Vessel will discharge in the alternative port of Antwerp, Belgium.|
|Connection from Antwerp to Sines on vessel MSC FLORENTINA, ETA Sines 3rd September|
